 Donnie Baseball is nearly here. McFarlane Toys will produce a 3-inch-scale baseball figure exclusive to the Toys "R" Us Times Square store in Manhattan. This limited-edition figure -- only available at the Times Square store -- immortalizes one of the most popular players in New York Yankees history: Don "Donnie Baseball" Mattingly.
To celebrate the event, Todd McFarlane will make an appearance at Toys "R" Us Times Square in conjunction with a Major League Baseball Opening Day promotion and feature shop at Toys "R" Us stores nationwide. McFarlane will be on-hand to sign purchases of his latest McFarlane's Sports Picks MLB collectible figures at Toys "R" Us Times Square on Thursday, April 14 from 4-7 pm. Toys "R" Us Times Square is located at 1514 Broadway (at 44th Street) in New York City.
In addition to the Mattingly figure, the Major League Baseball feature shop at Toys "R" Us Times Square will showcase several McFarlane's Sports Picks MLB action figures, including:

Additionally, fans will get the first peek at the MLB 11 lineup and will have the opportunity to win a rare and unique McFarlane's Sports Picks 12-inch pewter-washed, hand-painted and hand-cast figure of Derek Jeter, shortstop for the New York Yankees.
As it stands right now, the Times Square store will begin selling the Mattingly 3-inch exclusive when the doors open. The store has not instituted purchase limits at this time, but does reserve the right to impose limits as necessary. The Mattingly figure will sell for $5.99 each.
We're running a concurrent promotion with the ESPN Zone in Times Square (directly across from the Toys "R" Us store). Go there for a chance to win MLB figures and other McFarlane Sports Picks. ESPN News is scheduled to broadcast a live interview with Todd from the Zone at 12:30 p.m.
