September 2004 will mark the long-awaited release of the Star Wars Original Trilogy in DVD format. Coinciding with this release, Gentle Giant will be debuting Bust-Ups, a brand new micro-sized tradable model kit for the 21st Century. Star Wars Bust-Ups will launch in September with an assortment of characters from the Rebellion, continue in November with Sith Lords, and be followed up in early 2005 with everyone's favorite Bounty Hunters.

Scheduled for release in these first three series include Han Solo, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Yoda, Luke Skywalker, and many other household names.

Gentle Giant will be offering a first-look at Bust-Ups at San Diego Comic-Con and Wizard World in Chicago in 2004. The Limited Edition Spirit of the Rebellion 4-pack will include Clear versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and C-3PO. Finer details, including edition size and sale price, are still being determined and will be announced at a later date.
