Since its launch in 2005, LITTLEST PET SHOP has surged to the No. 3 best-selling mini-doll franchise. A staggering 13 million puppies, kitties, hamsters and other small creatures have found homes in the hands and hearts of girls ages 6-10 in its first year. Recognizing the fascination of tween girls’ interest in collecting and nurturing, HPG struck deals in categories that are highly appealing to this demographic, leading with social expressions and accessories.
In summer 2006, a mall-based specialty retailer will exclusively offer LITTLEST PET SHOP-branded “Back-to-School” social expressions, including diaries and journals, and accessories in stores across the U.S. Additionally, discussions are underway with multiple national retailers to bring LITTLEST PET SHOP gear to the mass market during the 2006 holiday season and into spring 2007.
