Fall 2006 will be an exciting time for little girls who are devoted MY LITTLE PONY fans with the debut of MY LITTLE PONY: THE WORLD’S BIGGEST TEA PARTY live stage show. Under license with VEE Corporation, the highly interactive 90-minute musical production will feature singing, dancing and playing along with all the ponies. The fun-filled experience will immerse young girls into PONYVILLE as they are surrounded by PINKIE PIE and friends, as well as teapots, rainbows, castles, balloons, fancy dresses and unicorns. The tour is set to kick off this fall at theaters and arenas nationwide.
Through relationships with Paramount Home Entertainment and Kidtoon Films, MY LITTLE PONY animated adventures debuted in both homes and theaters across the country last fall and winter with the wildly successful home videos and matinee showings at national theater chains of MY LITTLE PONY: A VERY MINTY CHRISTMAS and MY LITTLE PONY: PRINCESS PROMENADE. A third movie, MY LITTLE PONY CRYSTAL PRINCESS: THE RUNAWAY RAINBOW, is currently in production and scheduled for a fall 2006 release. Most recently, the MY LITTLE PONY: PRINCESS PROMENADE DVD was selected by Dr. Toy for inclusion on this year’s “Best Vacation Products” list.
On the digital media front, MY LITTLE PONY games are currently under development for the PC Windows and Game Boy Advance platforms through an agreement with THQ. The adventure titles are slated for release in fall 2006.
MY LITTLE PONY is also destined for bookshelves around the globe through deals with HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster UK, Hemma and other leading publishers. A total of 45 new book releases are slated for 2006. Additionally, little girls will have the opportunity to fully engross themselves in a MY LITTLE PONY fantasy world with items ranging from footwear to leisurewear, backpacks, wallpaper, and bedding.
